Blessings to Pastor Corey and his family for receiving the Lord’s vision for Harvest Ranch.

Born and raised in Central Ohio, I grew up in the Methodist Church where I learned early the blessing of Christian fellowship and being of service to others. In the late 1970s, I moved to Austin where I met and married my son’s father in 1980. I’ve worked for the State of Texas writing administrative law for the past 15 years and have enjoyed several other careers through the years; including commercial fishing, owning a fishing charter service, and horse wrangling for a Wyoming outfitter. My son, Gary, a wonderful young Christian, is attending Texas State University in San Marcos.

In my spare time, I enjoy riding and training my own horses. As well as, teaching riding lessons, volunteering at therapeutic and experiential riding facilities, and membership in the Capital Area Quarter Horse Association. Now I’m blessed with the opportunity to serve the Lord through the Williamson County Cowboy Church Arena Ministry.

Through the Arena Ministry we’ll have plenty of functions for folks of all ages with equestrian interests and a desire for Christian fellowship and outreach. The list of opportunities before us is limitless as is the combined talent and willingness of our congregation to walk in the Kingdom. Our plans include events such as roping, cutting, trail riding and camping, riding and horsemanship lessons and clinics, quarter horse shows, and ranch horse versatility shows.
